I tried to separate rolls here, and my partner got their salmon bento. I loved one of the rolls I got with the smoked salmon, but the second roll was not as flavorful despite the toppings. The rolls were not very sturdy, either, and fell apart easily. My partner enjoyed the bento, with the only complaint being the texture of the tempura on the salmon being a bit off. Overall the meal was enjoyable, the service was fantastic, and the restaurant is very cute, but it wasn't the best Japanese spot I've ever been to. We aren't local, so it's probably not somewhere we'll make a point of visiting again.

I usually come here alone and around lunch time. I have only been a few times, the few times I went it wasn't too bad. Good sushi, but this time I went around 6pm by myself tonight. I stood in line and these ladies came in after me cut me in line and were served first. OK whatever. Next I just stood there waiting for like 8? minutes until I got asked if I was picking up and I said "No Id like to be seated" and the person said "okay" and walked off? Ive never sat myself before, so I asked the person behind the register if I can just go sit and she said sure anywhere is fine. Ok sat down at sushi bar and got a menu, between 10-15 minutes until the literal owner told the waitress to go take my order because he noticed me just sitting there at the bar with the menu on the counter. Finally got my sushi, and the rolls were loose and the pieces were humongous. I only ate 2.5 rolls and most of my tori-karaage. Waitress asked how my food is and I told her the rolls were loose, and she got it discounted so that was nice, (also I could be misremembering but Im pretty sure last time I got more than 5 pieces?) I think if you wanna eat here, come at lunch when its slower, youll get better plating and better service than whatever I just experienced. The sushi tasted OK. Tori Karaage tasted very bomb I just forgot to get a pic I was hungry. 21.60$ for just my "discounted" shogun sushi and tori karaage.

I’ve been here before and expected better. Service was ok. The waitress did a good job but she was the only one for the whole restaurant. Sushi was a mix: some great, good, ok & bad. Our cooked food came out well before the sushi. They refunded the food that didn’t taste right. I hope improvements are made.

This is one of my go-to places, because sushi Asian food is my favorite, and this place is super affordable. The sushi is excellent, and very fair priced. We tried two different ramen soup dishes and they did not taste good.. weird recipe or something maybe.
